Vol. 69
It's 2022! What quilty New Year's resolutions did you make? Mine is to use up all my fat quarters by making a lot of scrappy quilts this year. I have my eye on several quilts in two wonderful volumes of "Scraps, Inc." books. We'll try to take a moment at our (virtual) January meeting to see what you all have planned for the coming year.
Due to a lot of family and other commitments, Jennifer Mounts is no longer going to be able to serve as Education Coordinator next year. (Thank you, Jennifer, for stepping up--but family and health come first!) Please let me know asap if you would be willing to volunteer for this position. It isn't hugely time consuming, and can be a lot of fun--if there are teachers you're interested in, now is the time to get them lined up for the guild! Please contact Marge or I if you need more information. Your guild needs YOU!!
Please remember to pay close attention to the newsletter in the coming months. Our plan is to meet in person at the Sewing Studio (although not in January, when we'll be on Zoom for our guest presentation.) If we have to go virtual, we'll let you know via newsletter. And please remember that our February meeting will include member "tips and tricks"; we'd love to have you share tools, techniques, and tips that you've been enjoying using.
Looking forward to seeing you in the New Year!
