This method produces four 6.5" (6" finish) half square triangle squares which can be kept separate or sewn together for a 12.5" block (12" finished). You will need a 10"white block or white on white, no cream please and several strips of blue and blue/grey fabrics sewn together and cut into a 10" square.
1. Sew several strips of blue and blue/grey fabrics tougher, enough to cut into a 10" square.
2. . Cut two 10" squares, one white, one any shades of blue strips.
3. Layer the two together, right sides together.
4. Sew 1/4" around the square (s)
5. Cut into 4 triangles on the diagonals.
6. Open into 4 squares.
7. Keep as four 6.5 (6" finished) squares or join together into 12.5" (12" finished) block.
For each 6.5 inch block brought to the meeting, you will earn a ticket, so if someone brings in a 12.5 inch block they will get 4 tickets.
