Hi Everybody,
This group is for members owning the Brother SNC (Scan N Cut) machine. I have owned one since they first became available, but have never learned to use it. Our guild has several other members in the same boat. And a few that actually know how to use their machines.
Well, the machine is actually very versatile and can do many things to help us quilters, and “wanna be” art quilters. So formed a guild subgroup, asked Debbie to teach us how to use these accessories, found a place to meet, and got started.
We meet once a month at Jeff and Carla’s house. Starting at about 10am, Debbie teaches us something useful to do with our SNCs. She guides us through the learning process until we can do the tasks she has chosen for the month.
We break at lunch for something Fabulous Jeff has cooked for us. We provide a salad and dessert. Our meals resemble a five star restaurant meal!
Then we go back to work till around 2pm and make sure we can still complete the tasks we learned. Debbie usually assigns a “home work” project for us to do and present at the next guild meeting.
