Calling All Bloggers!

Did you know we list our member bloggers on the left sidebar?  We have so many creative members, and it's nice to see what they are up to in between guild events.

Sewn With Curves
Our President Yanick is the featured quilter on Amy's blog this week.  Take a minute to read more about Yanick's artistic background, her passion for creating, and quilting tips.   There is some colorful eye candy there as well!

I noticed The Sewing Studio has updated their website to include a blog which features bios on the staff along with product features and tips not exclusive to quilting.

If you are a quilt blogger and are not listed on our sidebar, please let me know immediately so that can be rectified.  You can leave a comment here or email me (address in directory).

Have you thought about starting a blog, but not sure where to start?  I am sure any one of the bloggers listed on our site would be happy to help.  Feel free to leave any questions on this post.

Would you like to see a blog hop of all guild blogs with a last stop here for a giveaway?  Leave your comments and suggestions below and we will make it happen.  There will also be a random winner drawn from the comments on this post.  Suggest away!

  2. Hooray Yanick!

I'd love to see a blog hop where everyone shows a quilt that taught them a lesson (whether a technique, style or life lesson) and then share that lesson with us.

  3. Blogs are my kryptonite. I learned to quilt, get my best recipes and more from the awesome blogging community. I also love to blog when I can. My blog also serves as a reminder when I made something I want to revisit. You'll see links to my favorite tutorials and recipes peppered throughout my blog. Will bake for comments! ;)

  4. Good ideas here! Central Florida MQG has only two bloggers of it's 50 members, so you guys are doing great!

  5. I love to look at our member's blog. I have learned some great techniques from some of them. It's such a time grabber though, you start on one then keep on going until you've been online for hours! That's why I'm afraid to start listening to Podcasts!

  6. OK. OK. I get it. Need to start blogging again :)

I vote for Cara's suggestion of a blog hop with a specific subject.

  7. I have a love/hate relationship with blogging. I love reading everyone's blog, but sometimes seeing all those pretty blogs makes me feel very amateur. When it comes to my blog, sometimes I wonder whether it is worth doing it, but then looking at my archives and reading comments (will bake for comments too), it makes me happy and makes me want to carry on.
I vote YES for a blog hopping party!
