World Quilt Florida - Orlando Jan 7th - 9th

The Mancuso World Quilt Show is in town this weekend. It is being held from Jan 7th to the 9th from 10 am to 6pm at the Orange County Convention Center.

The Orlando Modern Quilt Guild was excited to have a special exhibit of quilts from our talented guild members. Here are just a few of the quilts that were spotted.

If you get a chance to stop by the show you can see them all. They also have a pretty impressive display of works from many different countries, lots of vendors with fabrics and more, and lectures. Have a wonderful quilty weekend!

Quilty Inspiration

Today marks the start of the Fall 2010 Blogger's Quilt Festival.  Amy started this in 2009 to coincide with Quilt Market for those of us unable to make it to Houston.  I stumbled across the festival last year and spent way too much time on the computer, but the inspiration gained and the new bloggers discovered made it worth while.  I encourage you to head over there to see for yourself, and to enter your own quilt if you haven't already.  The festival runs until November 5th, and there are giveaways involved as well.
