Timna Tarr's lecture will be tomorrow night (1/9) at 6:30 PM. Her Zoom link will be sent to members at 4 PM that day.
11 member quilts will be featured at the Lake Mary Museum 20th Annual Quilting & Fiber Arts Exhibit! You can see them until February 8th at 158 N Country Club Road in Lake Mary
SEWN Swap participants should have received their partners. Please contact Rene if you have questions.
Next month's meeting will NOT be at Sewing Studio! It will be at Maitland Community Park (1400 Mayo Ave, Maitland, FL 32751) and feature a fabric sale supporting our education fund.
A few spots remain in David's Inspired by Art workshop!
Our 15th Anniversary Celebration will be held March 15 from 12-3 at the First Congregational Church of Winter Park (225 S Interlachen Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789).
Debby, Education Coordinator, introduced David Owen Hastings. He presented his lecture 20 Modern Quilts From Around the World. In this lecture he presented 22 incredible quilts created by quilters from varying cultures worldwide. Members were inspired by the stories and techniques presented. A list of followup resources and links are being sent to members' emails in the afternoon.
Our nominating committee (Susan Rose, Bernadette Vehec, and Kelly Eskin) presented the slate of possible officers for 2025-2026. The slate will be voted on at the February meeting and is as follows:

Cara shared an exciting new development in honor of the Guild's 15th Anniversary this year - we have a new logo!
We also have a new website! An email will come out later this week with information on how to pay dues and register for the 2025 - 2026 year on the site.
Gail won the Education Raffle Basket!
Jane A won the Block of the Month! Nancy presented the next block. Bring these with you to the March meeting.
For the 15th Anniversary Party, rather than doing a potluck we will be doing "adopt a tray". Be on the lookout for more information to come!
