The “New Year, New Challenge” challenge is still ongoing, and the show and tell moved to April.

Education Chairman Marge Cree announced the Timna Tarr class is April 25th. She mentioned her concern that we had several cancellations after the original sign up and asked that members carefully consider their decision to attend upon signing up. It is difficult to reserve appropriate classroom space when the attendance fluctuates. The class is scheduled for Saturday, April 25 at the Bernina Sewing Center in Lake Mary.
Marge asked for members to contact her for recommendations or requests for workshop instructors.
Sue Kenard presented the quilty basket for education; tickets were sold and Susanne Plasse won the basket.
Ede introduced the guest speaker for the meeting, Linda Hungerford, of Flourishing Palms.
She gave a lecture on Powerpoint and demonstration on domestic machine quilting with rulers.
Ede announced that the show and tell will be postponed until next month’s meeting due to time constraints.
