Jodi found a fun block for our January block of the month. The Butterfly Block was created by Rachel who blogs at Four Wise Monkeys. These cute butterflies would make a cheery and colorful quilt.

Tutorial for Butterfly Block

The block should measure 8.5" x 8.5" to finish at 8" x 8". The color scheme is pink, yellow, and orange and the embroidered antennae are optional. Bring your block(s) to the January 8, 2014 guild meeting at The Sewing Studio in Maitland for a chance to win them all!
