For anyone that missed the meeting today, there is a mini quilt swap opportunity that has been set up between our guild and the Las Vegas Modern Quilt Guild. It is going to be fun, and who doesn't love a mini quilt?! Here is a peek at the wall above my sewing area... (honest craft room! ignore the mess lol) There is even one from Frank on there!

The swap will consist of one mini quilt between 12 and 24 inches and a card so that you can introduce yourself to your partner. 

There are no extras allowed so please do not worry about that. All quilts will be given to Tanyia, she will be coordinating the swap, and everything will be mailed together to the other guild. Our guild is larger than theirs so if we have more participation there will be a lotto to determine who will be participating.

Beth suggested giving the non lotto winners the option of swapping interguild with the other non winners so that option will be afforded to you if you do not win the lotto, but it will not be required.

If you do sign up, please use our hashtag on Instagram for any photos you post (fabric pulls, progress shots, sent and received, etc but do NOT tag your partner as this is a secret swap).

Tanyia needs the information sheet back from you by March 25th. You can hand them to her directly  at either sew day, or you can email the answers to her @ tanyiadeskins@hotmail.com or you can snap a pic of the signup sheet and text them to her at the number listed in the guild roster. You can also send the pics via DM on Instagram of Facebook.

Quilters of all levels are welcome and encouraged to give it a shot!
