October 2012 Block of the Month

The October Block of the Month is quilter's choice with a Halloween spin. You could make a traditional block using fun Halloween fabrics, combine solids in modern fashion, applique a black cat or jack-o-lantern, embroider a haunted house, make a Spider Web quilt block, etc. The sky's the limit. Just have fun. Here are some images to get you started.

The unfinished block size is 12.5", to finish at 12". Bring your block(s) to the October meeting for a chance to win them all. Make as many blocks as you want to increase your chances of winning.
