February 2013 Block of the Month

Giving a nod to Pantone's 2013 Color of the Year, February's block is to be using green fabrics and with neutrals being the only other color fabric used.  The block size should be 12.5" square when trimmed and can be any {modern} design the quilter chooses.

The above block was made using Jolene's directions for her Tree Quilt in Modern Quilts from the Blogging Universe.  You can find many block ideas and instructions on Flickr and on our Pinterest boards .

Have fun making a block of your choosing.  Bring your block(s) to February's meeting for a chance to take home all the blocks made.
