About Us

The Orlando Modern Quilt Guild is a branch of The Modern Quilt Guild.  We meet the first Wednesday of the month from 10am-12pm at The Sewing Studio in Maitland, Florida.  Additionally, we have a Sew Day once a month usually on the third Saturday of the month at the Southwest Branch of the Orlando Public Library in the Dr. Phillips area, as well as a monthly Sew Day at the Maitland Public Library usually on the Monday following the guild meeting.  Check the Calendar as dates and times are subject to change.  We would love for you to join us!

Our Mission Statement:

The Orlando Modern Quilt Guild, a Chapter of the Modern Quilt Guild, is a non-profit organization formed to:

  • inspire and support our members in their enjoyment of and growth in quilt making;
  • promote an interest in and appreciation of the art of quilt making, especially in a no rules modern approach to fabric arts;
  • assist our community by creating quilts and other fabric projects for those in need.
